Southern Twin Cities Automotive Paintless Dent Repair

Preserving your vehicle’s factory finish with top-quality repairs and personalized service

WHAT IS PDR?

PDR, which stands for paintless dent repair, is the art of removing dents and dings from your automobile’s metal surfaces.

Whether it’s hail damage or parking lot dings, your vehicle’s finish will be restored without performing any painting, use of fillers, or replacing panels. Using various pushing and pulling techniques, PDR is the art of massaging the metal surfaces back to their original form and preserving the factory finish.

Is PDR right for me?

It’s important to note that while PDR can be a great option for repairing a range of damage, including aluminum panels and even some plastic surfaces, not all damage will be a candidate for paintless dent repair. PDR is best suited for light to moderate sized dents and dings where the paint is still intact. The paintless dent repair technique may not be the best fit for damaged paint, hyper-stretched metal, or damage to the inner structure of the panel. Although, often times even if minor chips in the paint have occurred, the dent can be removed and the chip can be minimized with a small dab of touch up paint.

At Carlson PDR, our top priority is to restore your vehicle’s surface with efficiency and precision while preserving the factory finish. Most repairs can be completed within a day or two, and lighter damage can often be completed within the same day. Traditional body shop repairs may take a week or longer and could run the risk of mismatched paint, poor fitting replacement panels, and decreased durability of the repainted surface.

Excellent work!

Nobody better!

- Joe P.

I had hail damage on both my vehicles in the span of a week.

One is a newer car, but the other is a 1992 Bronco that got stuck in golfball-sized hail.

Gary did a fantastic job on both vehicles! He knows what he's doing.
